Miss Elayne is a California credentialed multi-subject (K-Adult) teacher with a MA.Ed and a BFA in Fine Arts. Miss Elayne is a Dyslexia specialist, and most recently, received her certification as an Educational Therapist. She has experience tutoring, teaching and also designing educational resource materials/curriculum. She has worked in a variety of educational settings, both public and private and is trained in research-based programs including Orton Gillingham, LiPS and Barton.
Miss Elayne provides individualized, multisensory reading (K-adult) and math (K through pre-Algebra) instruction for individuals with Dyslexia, language processing issues, Dyscalculia or other learning challenges. She uses specialized programs and incorporates activitiesmbased on each student’s strength, learning style and interests, helping them improve underlying processing skills. She also enjoys working with students in visual arts, photoshop, 3-D imaging, science, and social studies.
