Meet Miss Andie: Your Multitalented Multisensory Dyslexia Tutor
Miss Andrea, or Andie, has many years of experience with hands-on instruction as a former Montessori teacher. Initially, she pursued a degree in aviation maintenance technology but discovered her passion for teaching along the way. Her favorite aspect of working with children is seeing the wide-eyed wonder and joy they experience when discovering new things.
Miss Andie received her Montessori certification through the North American Montessori Center. She worked as a Montessori teacher for 4 years. A classically trained pianist since 1998, she taught piano after graduating from college. Over the years, she has enjoyed working with children through summer programs, private tutoring, and camp settings.
In her spare time, Miss Andie enjoys playing board games, video games, and spending time with her family and cats. She and her husband love taking their children hiking in the mountains. She also dabbles in various crafts, especially sewing, and is an avid reader who always has a book at hand.
