3D Learning Experts specializes in one-to-one cognitive educational tutoring in reading, spelling, writing and math for students of all ages with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia often with additional learning and attention challenges. We use specialized programs and techniques to help students become confident, independent learners by improving underlying processing skills.
We are seeking passionate individuals who are committed to our mission to empower students with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia by teaching academic skills, fostering self-esteem, and preparing them for independence. Part-time Literacy (ELA) Specialist and Math Tutor:
We are looking for reliable and flexible individuals who are passionate about helping struggling students succeed and committed to establishing and maintaining a long-term tutoring relationship with their students within our company. We will train the right person for the job to change the lives of struggling students in an appropriate manner, we encourage you to apply. We will train the right person for these rewarding tutoring positions.
Tutors requirements include:
- Experience working with students who have learning challenges, preferred
- At least two years of experience working with children as a tutor
- At least one year of experience working online
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to work a set schedule during the school year Monday-Thursday from 2-6 pm PST and 9am-2pm during the summer months (June-August) a minimum of 6 hours/week
- Clear criminal background & sex offender registry check
- Excellent high-speed internet access and newer operating system with headphones/microphone
- Have a quiet and distraction-free location to work from
- Experience working with ADHD individuals, a must
- Tutoring experience with students who have learning challenges and experience working with students online, preferred
Literacy (ELA) Specialist Tutor: Barton or Orton-Gillingham Certification or extensive OG/Barton tutoring experience, a plus.
Math Tutor: Experience teaching using structured, sequential multisensory math training such as: OG Math, Making Math Real, Math-U-See or Woodin Math, a plus.
