Miss Rachel Learning Specialist | Reading, Spelling & Math
Miss Rachel provides individualized, evidence-based instruction in Reading, Spelling, Writing, and Math for students with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, and other neurodiversities. Using Orton-Gillingham techniques and other multisensory, structured literacy approaches, she tailors every lesson to each student’s unique learning profile, helping them build strong academic skills while growing in confidence and independence.
Since joining 3D Learning Experts in 2019, Miss Rachel has helped students close learning gaps through explicit, systematic instruction that makes learning meaningful and achievable. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and has completed specialized training through the Dyslexia Training Institute and the International Open Academy, providing her with the knowledge and expertise to support students who learn differently.
Miss Rachel also brings valuable experience as a former Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA), giving her exceptional patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt instruction to meet each student’s individual needs. Her calm, encouraging teaching style helps students feel safe to take risks, celebrate progress, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Having close family members with Dyslexia, Miss Rachel understands many of the challenges her students experience. That personal connection, combined with her professional expertise, allows her to build meaningful relationships with students and families while providing the individualized support they deserve.
Outside of teaching, Miss Rachel enjoys visiting Disneyland and spending time in the kitchen baking delicious treats for family and friends.
