Meet Miss Rachel, Our Highly-Trained Dyslexia Tutor with a Background in Autism

Miss Rachel is a passionate and dedicated Dyslexia tutor whose mission is to help students overcome their academic struggles and gain confidence. Her personal connection to Dyslexia, having family members who struggle with it, ignited her drive to pursue a career in tutoring. Miss Rachel has completed extensive training, including the Certificate Program from the Dyslexia Training Institute and the Dyslexia Awareness Program through the International Open Academy.

With her well-rounded education and personal passion for Dyslexia tutoring, she is well-equipped to help students achieve academic success in all of the subjects we teach: reading, spelling, writing, and math.

Miss Rachel’s previous work as an Applied Behavior Analyst contributes to her patience and understanding, which she passes on to her students. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago.

Her enthusiasm is infectious when helping students learn in a way that is beneficial to them. She enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels, whether they need help with basic reading or advanced math. Miss Rachel strives to not only improve her students’ academic performance but also boost their self-esteem.

When she’s not changing students’ lives for the better, Miss Rachel enjoys exploring a few hobbies that bring her joy and relaxation. One of her favorite places to visit is Disneyland, and she also loves to spend time in her kitchen, where she whips up all sorts of delicious baked goods.
