Meet Mr. Chris, Our Highly-Trained Reading Expert with a Personal Connection to Dyslexia
Mr. Chris is a certified Barton Reading & Spelling Practitioner, specializing in structured literacy instruction for students with dyslexia and related learning differences.
A graduate of the University of California, Irvine with additional studies in Creative Writing at Chapman University, he brings a strong language foundation to his work. Since joining 3D Learning Experts in 2020, Mr. Chris supports students in developing reading, spelling, and writing skills through systematic, explicit, and evidence-based instruction.
His approach focuses on breaking down language into clear, manageable steps, helping students build accuracy, fluency, and deeper understanding. He emphasizes consistency, repetition, and application, ensuring students develop the skills needed for long-term progress.
With a strong understanding of dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, along with personal insight into dyslexia, autism, and ADHD through his family, Mr. Chris uses structured, diagnostic instruction to identify learning gaps and adjust his approach accordingly. His sessions are focused, engaging, and skill-driven, helping students strengthen foundational literacy and build independence in their learning.
Outside of his work, Mr. Chris enjoys creative storytelling through Dungeons & Dragons and gaming with friends around the world.
